Just watched Ted 2, is racism now in bounds to be joked about?

Seth Macfamilyman never really been that funny anyway :yeshrug:

Shock comedy, Ted being property and slavery parallel jokes? Cringeworthy

fukk Seth, his ma, and anyone that looks like her

My friend and I walked out our Ted 2 screening. There were just too many unsettling racial jokes in too short a time span. I think my friend and I counted like 4 black jokes in 10 minutes. I walked out that bytch at the 4th or 5th black, the one right after the fat black lady, like ":comeon:". My friend actually started walking out while I was contemplating it. So rest assured, you're not the only one who thought the host of black jokes ruined this movie. What kind of comedy writer plugs in 5 slavery jokes in 10 minutes? :wtf:

the movie had plenty of funny bits to me, it's not much worse than the original... but having the cliche angry blach "uh-uh!" character even if played for a joke at this point is so lazy and stupid, i can't believe they got away with keeping her in the script

only thing i was offended by was the stereotypical black woman.

As far as the slavery thing, it was comparing Ted since was fighting for his rights to be considered as a person rather than a thing or property as slaves used to be.

the black cock jokes was simply them typing something into google [literally anything] and google would as "did you mean black cocks"

Idc for that joke they made about blacks and sickle cell but everything else was cool so I'm not going to have fake outrage or nothing

I hope this thread is not coming across as "fake outrage"

I'm not going to go burn a building or nothing by bringing this up lol, just sharing views on what I didnt like about this background noise of a film. In another movie review it will be something else I like or dislike about the next film.

It's okay to not like racist "jokes"against your people, no need to feel uneasy lol

I refuse to see it because it overdid the black jokes.

I know that movies are entertinment and jokes but for me to watch this would be for me to be ok with racist whites which I refuse to do.
