Just watched Mad Max fury road for the first time last night

Saw it 3x in the theater myself. It’s just a beautiful masterpiece IMO and the replay value is top notch. The cinematography everything about it I just love.

The story is simple, but to TRULY appreciate it, I suggest you should watch this great analysis.

I love the Mad Max movies but I have to admit that I had almost lost hope for the movie because they originally shot this in 2012, and then it kept getting pushed back further and further with reshoots and the like. Looking back now, it really was a labor of love. I had a great time watching it in the theater and on blu-ray when it came out.

Wow didn't realize it was shelved for that long. Probably my favorite action movie of the decade. Pure funk.

In comparison to the others, it may be. It could be my nostalgia of having it on BetaMax () back in the day, but I still enjoy it as well.

If anything, Thunderdome is the one that deserves credit for setting up Fury Road for what it was though.
