Probably one of the better movies to use the camera reality gimmick and come off as realistic (prior to this coming out that talked about how all the footage was gonna be explained that documented them using their powers in the movie). There are talks of a sequel in the works but I don't see how they are gonna pull that off unless it's an origin movie (as someone mentioned) or maybe someone else was exposed to the same alien contact prior/after them (since they never mentioned how they escaped that incident to begin with).

Wallace stays catching Ls always dying before his homies :why:

Maybe I don't expect much from movies, but this shyt was straight piff. Enjoyed the movie all the way through. Had a weed edible and was just :krs: the whole movie.

This is also the first time I've enjoyed that camera gimmick. In my opinion it made the movie better and more realistic.

Oh shyt!! That WAS Wallace! :krs:

He always getting murked by his boys. And copping pleas :pacspit: :smh:

The filmmakers originally intended to have Andrew splay and tear apart his father's limbs exactly like the spider's, but the scene was removed to preserve a PG-13 rating, and to showcase Matt's pacifistic nature.

THANK U

That's what I'm getting at when I answer dude quest a couple pages back if they ended with dudes nose start bleeding when he was in Tibet

*noises start bleeding*
*realizes he is not alone*

:krs:

I agree. They def dropped the ball with that ending.

I still would have preferred seeing andrew just bounce as the villain. But even if there were some other kids who went down that hole, and dude just bled it would have been a much better ending.

Just watched it last night. shyt was pretty good, a solid 8/10, maybe even 8.5 considering that it came off really well despite the low budget and had good camera angles for it to be done I that handi-cam style and they actually made that gimmick work well and add more to the movie rather than just be there for the sake of being. Wife and I both enjoyed it. Initially wasn't too interested in seeing, but some of yall and offline homies was vouching for it, so I finally checked it out and walked away fairly impressed with expectations sated.

Sucks that Steve died, to which I just knew was going to happen (so typical) as he was the best character in the movie being the most well-rounded and likeable. Also, don't like that his death wasn't exactly shown.

Great concept, really cool ideas from the director...shoddy writing. It was a pretty solid movie but it really flip flopped hard from a feel-good movie where the kid finds someone to relate to and a chance to escape his problems to Akira PG-13. I was watching the end like "of all the directions they coulda went with this...they chose this ish!?"

We have to remember that alien shyt can still be in the ground, or gone because the government discovered it and took it

A sequel can be made
