All right, checked out dark knight returns.... It was good, but voice acting could use a little work. Another gripe I have is there was no inner monologue and I found myself thinking all the lines from the book. All in all it was solid if you have read the book

I'm watching the movie right now. A lot of things remind me of the 2-part first episodes of "Batman Beyond".

Also how the hell is Alfred still alive?

bruce was like in his mid 30's when the whole jason todd thing happened right? lets say he retired a lil bit after that in this continuity he should be like 50 something in dark knight returns... making alfred like 70, he could easily still be a butler if hes in good condition, and alfred been written as an ex soldier

Are these animated movies all connected or can you watch any one and not feel like you've missed anything?

Nah they're almost all animated adaptions of the most popular graphic novels and comic book storylines. They're all seperate and can be enjoyed on an individual basis.

Under the Red Hood is still my fav DC animated movie but they're ALL fire. :lawd:
