Just watched Batman: Year One and DKReturns...

As a Batman stan, I'm gonna have to say I was impressed with how well both of these came out, ESPECIALLY Dark Knight Returns... I thought things couldn't get better after Under The Red Hood but NOPE... DKR is easily the beast DC animated movie ever and I'm fiending for part 2 right now HARD...

Also I was at how much of these 2 movies/novels made it into the Dark Knight Rises, Frank Miller is truly the gawd of the this Gotham City story telling shyt

foolie coolie that shyt is BETTER than under the red hood no lie, old bruce is by far the GULLIEST he's ever been that shyt is actually more grimey and bloodier than the dark knight rises!!! and part 2 is looking like its gonna be even more

I read dark knight returns way back in high school along with the long halloween (which NEEDS to be the next bat flick) but I didnt know about year one at all ti the flick dropped... my god young jim gordon was a GOON

yessir it would top 3 bat story ever... theres alot of shyt that the live action movie has in common with these 2 flicks tho like the whole 'your gonna be in for a show tonight kid' I didnt think nolan was gonna be that influenced by the comics...
