Thanks for bumping this thread. Fill us in on what it was like last night. Did he perform his hits?

He performed "Everybody Loves the Sunshine", "Searching", "Spirit of the Dodo" and "Red, Black, and Green". His voice is very low and at times he was singing the wrong lyrics and had to be reminded of the next song but his background singers had his back. At the end of every song he screamed "Owwwwww!" which was heard loud and clear and the audience laughed and clapped every single time he did it lol. I knew the show was over when he turned his back to the audience and started leaning on a chair. Honestly, I wouldn't have my father or grandfather out during this time while he's not in the best shape but maybe he insisted on performing again.

it is a crime to listen to hiphop and not be familiar with roy ayers or even just jazz in general

he is my most played artist, i waited on long lines for that colour of africa LP

he plays NYC frequently, he should be here this summer
