You are not lying. They've been doing crap all season. :what:

They can be playing beautiful team basketball in the first half of games, and then for whatever reason, the game changes. The gameplan shifts to waiting until the clock runs down to 3 seconds and then heaving inefficient desperation hero ball shots. :scusthov:

Still, I haven't seen Spoelstra go hard on any of those players taking those contested ass long jumpshots the way he goes at Whiteside for not setting screens so good that Brian Windhorst could use them to get past Prime Tony Allen AND Kawhi Leanord for easy layups 100% of the time. :ohlawd:

Meanwhile, Gerald Green can come into a game and launch the dumbest of pull up 3's, and all Spo has to say is, :whoa: "Keep shooting! Trust the process!"

Wade can occasionally get in a trance and start settling for hero ball shots and Spoelstra is :whoa: "Keep shooting! Trust the process!"

McRoberts can come in the game and flat out REFUSE to shoot, and Spoelstra is, :whoa: "Start shooting! Trust the process!"

One of your top players in Whiteside goes up for a putback after Deng bricks a 3, and Spoelstra is, :camby: "Go sit down and watch Stat, and Haslem pass out of the post"

The whole team starts shooting ill advised perimeter shots, and Spoelstra is,:camby:"We need better screens from Whiteside. Lets go smaller. McRoberts, come show this man how to set a screen."
got damn:whew:

this might be the post of the thread:wow:

If it's any consolation, we'll be first round food for a different team

Nah the rest of the post season is still important because u gotta audition for hassan's loyalty. Spo shouldve had nikkas feed hassan the ball inside the 2nd half and tell em go hard. Force the refs to blow the whistle but nah he sits the nikka for mad long for small ball.

U think teams with the max are not in his ear bout him being the focal point of the offense? Shyt we play charlotte the 1st round u dont thibk he would love to play in his home town with the right pitch?

We got 3 days for them to figure it out but we gotta let the youngins work out there

This team should look totally different next year. We need more consistent talent. No excuse for blowing such a large lead but when we had losses when we should have won all year.

Didnt know we still got the #3 seed despite the loss to boston :ohhh:. Top 3 seed despite missing Bosh for half the year :ehh:

I didnt like any of the matchup possibilities but i guess we gotta take whatever comes our way with Charlotte. They're young and can run. We'll have to take them seriously from tip-off to final buzzer

It was very unsettling. I have no words to describe my disappointment. The game was in the bag. No one showed any fight in that second half. Let's regroup and get ourselves together for a run.

That was some of the most disappointing basketball I've ever seen. Wade and JJ not being able to close out a 20pt lead speaks volumes to the overall ability to win here. We may edge Charlotte due to home court advantage but the party stops there.

With no draft picks in the next 20 years(Thanks Pat), like Cleveland, we're not going to sniff the trophy in the era of GS. Enjoy the first round all. After that we hope that JR and JW can become the new young stars we need. Thats all there is left.

Pat riley/Spoelstra is the only problem in Miami heat , they don't change , keeping the same type of game from lebron era , i don't know what kind of doctor or specialist are working in the miami heat , and don't advise to the coaches and say : wait the players are tired you have to use other players . Miami heat is tired team almost always ,
very easy solutions
1- tire players , you have to change them in the right then why you sign two more players if you will no use them
2-If the formula Whiteside come off from bench is working. why you have to change it .
3-you can win with inconsistent veterans

Advise : change the coaches and directors , build a new complete team from 0 ,like Celtics did.
Lebron-wade-bosh are history . you have to change and move ahead

I'm STILL trying to figure out why Hassan was on the bench in 3rd QTR...?!!?

For the first time ever, I have started to get annoyed with the whole "Heat Culture" mantra, what does that mean? Its a bit too much patting (pun intended) on the back. Does the culture get the blame too for that 3rd Q? From this angle, unless Mourning, hardaway, flash and Shaq or Big 3 have been around the Heat Culture has been mediocre to putrid. So like every team it's about your go to guys. This team has provided incredible lows and highs this season, last night alone was la creme de la creme in the 1Q, le grand merde in the 3rd. Dr Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, there is no telling who well get. Probably more of the same, win an improbable game on road, inexplicably lose at home. There is no consistency, don't expect too much bc you won't get it night in and night out. In Spo we DO NOT trust.
