I don't think starting is a big deal, mostly because Hassan got plenty of minutes and we had injury concerns from last year, but Amare as a starter is starting to wear thin. The novelty is wearing off.

Motivated Hassan should be starting, easily. But I get nervous when Hassan plays. He's a jump happy 7 footer who likes to jump for blocks and try to dunk over everybody. That shyt tends to be torture on the knees and joints.

Gotta get that 3 seed or HCA in the first round.
Opening up against Boston on the road just feels like a first round loss.

that's why its good to see his offensive game improve so much. he's developing into a big man who will be productive even when his athleticism fades

This team is good enough to steal HCA in a series, so im not too worried about it. That said im going for two Atlanta losses (cleveland/washington) and a Boston win against Charlotte. Why? Cements charlotte as the 6 seed which would be our first round matchup if we win out, and keeps boston in clevelands bracket :steviej:

Both Boston and Charlotte got a breh like :lupe:
boston has me worried cause of their coach. charlotte only because they have a lot of size to throw at hassan. but when it comes down to it, we just got more talent and I think we'll wear em both down. our biggest problem is staying motivated for average teams. in the playoffs that won't be a problem...these guys will come out ready every game. playoff wade gonna be the difference for us vs these young teams. we really gotta put the pressure on these guys with the wade-hassan pick and roll. plus iso joe lives for big time moments. we're gonna be good.

All he's lacking is fluidity and confidence in his counters / footwork plus lower body strength.

His touch around the rim is unreal for his strength. Hassan can literally throw up some really awkward hooks and push shots but they'll still manage to fall.

Yeah look at the score it was just garbage minutes, but still :ehh:
And there's some reports saying TJ probably won't be ready for the playoffs so Weber might be thrown in the deep end
I doubt his shoulder would be right for the playoffs anyway. Not a good idea to try and squeeze him back in unless this lineup has a guy struggling. Personally, I really like what we have right now.

I'm still waiting to see what we're going to do with Dorell Wright
