what defense? I looked up the stats. since 2/28(JJ 1st game) they are 13th in defensive rtg. ATL, Bos, and Charlotte are all ahead by good margins. we've also lost to both Bos and Charlotte at Home. basically, unless something drastic changes...I don't see them getting out of the 1st rd
I love this team but i dont get my hopes up for them.
pretty much. this will be good experience for JRich and Winslow, as well as a good test for Hassan.

Spo stays talking about our defense after games but he still insists on not starting our best defensive player. or any of our top 3 defensive players for that matter. aside from Deng we have pretty much no defense in the starting lineup.
look at the boxscore. the ENTIRE starting lineup was in the negative. we only had 4 players in the positive tonight. Hassan, justise, j rich, and green.
I pile it on Spo, but this dude is so hypocritical and spineless. Iso Joe and Wade offer nothing on the defensive end....theres no way we can continue to play them together for long stretches. opposing teams are feasting on them. open looks all day and getting to the basket at will. at least green busts his ass on the defensive end, even if his shot isn't falling. it used to be just Wade who Spo feared now it's Joe too. Spo was so thrilled about getting him now he doesn't have the heart to keep him on the bench. I'm glad we got Joe and he's gonna be big for us in the playoffs, but he has to be used in lineups with good defensive support. him and Wade together is suicide. if he's not gonna start hassan at least start justise over joe. when justise was in the starting lineup with Deng at PF we were KILLING. now it's the same shyt every game with teams scoring on us with ease to start the game. and spo continues to turn a blind eye like he always does with his favorite players. smh

I feel like this season is being used to evaluate what we have and who can contribute in the future. We are just good right now. I hope we can move into contending status next year.

Not at all.....
Right now we'd be playing Boston in a 4/5 matchup.... That'll be a close one without Bosh or homecourt...shyt would be a struggle

.....we got a coach that complains about defense but doesn't start any of our best defensive players. our starting lineup has 4 terrible defensive players that keep letting shytty teams look like the warriors. Joe, Wade, dragic, and amare on the floor at the same time is from a defensive standpoint. it makes no sense with spo's defense first mentality. goes against everything he supposedly stands for. our first and 2nd units are so unbalanced defensively, it's no wonder why we can't hold on to a lead.
I dont believe any of those 3 teams 3-6 are beating us 4 out of 7
