I'm tired of dude's "I'm only successful in one style shyt". Wade and Joe gonna have to shoulder the majority of playmaking when shyt slows down in the playoffs.
crazy...what was Riley thinking? he panicked :smh: a guy who can't excel in a slower paced game, is gonna do what in the playoffs?...in the east especially :snoop:

it would be one thing if he could hit 3s...or was an elite passer or play maker.

in the time he's been with the Heat, how many games has he put the team on his back and won a game?

and looking at what Winslow and richardson are doing, don't tell me those draft picks don't matter

he's just been a disappointment considering how is was sold as this great point guard. all the excuses he was given to start the season are not gonna fly anymore. he either gonna step up or get exposed in the playoffs

Look, a lot of ya'll have unrealistic expectations for Dragic. They gave up 2 first round picks for him, they had to resign him, and he even gave us a slight discount per his market value. He had a really great year in Phoenix in 2013 but remember this, his career averages are: 12 ppg, 4.7 assists, and almost 3 rebs

His numbers this year: 13.8 ppg, 6 assists, 3.7 rebounds. And thats with him not even being a feature in the offense until Bosh went down. He's not underperforming, this is who he is. Now maybe in the near future a Richardson, TJ, or even a Weber type will inspire the confidence that they can move Dragic (if they think they have a real shot at KD i could see this happening) but as of today this is a far better team with Dragic than without.
This. People forget how bad the offense looked those games that he was out. Had guys like Wade saying how they miss him and how important he is to the team. He gets the team into offense which is something Richardson and TJ can't do right now and it showed when he was out. He's never going to put up huge numbers, especially when Wade and Johnson are playing but he's important to the team. If you want to say he's overpaid, that's the Heat's fault, not his. He's the best pg they've had since Hardaway and they gave up picks to get him so I understand why they did.

Yeah I'm not understanding this complaining either :francis:
It wasn't that long ago when Dragic was out and TJ was running point and it was embarrassing, especially that Toronto game :snoop:
Heat fans have to stop pointing fingers at one person every time something doesn't happen our way :beli:
We've complained for years how we needed a better PG. We get one now he's not good enough? :why:

c'mon man, Winslow and Richardson are an anomaly. Look at all our failed draft picks in recent memory. Pittman, Varnado, Norris Cole. We could've had Draymond Green a couple of years ago and instead ended up with Justin Hamilton :why:

We can't have it all. We've got an elite shot blocking center, a top 3 SG of all time, one of the best swiss army knives in the game at SF/PF hybrid, Dragic is a very solid player. For years that's literally all we were asking for at PG and now we got it and its not enough :snoop:

No doubt @ the bolded, but I still say we're paying too much for him :yeshrug:

Same thing I was tellin some of yall who were dogging Whiteside. Easily our best center in the last decade and they were nitpicking about his immaturity, body language, etc. The Joel Anthony days weren’t that long ago, appreciate what you have:mjlol:

Dragic is who he is. He's not a superstar who can dominate and win you a championship, but we won rings with Jason Williams and Mario Chalmers as our starting point guards and Dragic is clearly better than both of them. as long as the supporting cast/bench/coaching is right we can win one with him too.

Norris Cole was a failed draft pick now? :stopitslime: don't revise history to better your argument man. Cole wasn't a starting caliber PG, but he was FAR from a failed draft pick. he contributed plenty to those championship runs.

Breh, you don't trade 2 1st rd draft picks and pay 17 million a year for a SOLID PG. you do that for an ELITE one.

and for years all we needed or wanted was a solid pg because from 2005-2014 we had 1 or 2 top 5 players in the league on the roster. now we don't, so yeah you want your pg to be better at actually being a point guard. he's good...he's not trash. but he's not what he was sold to be. period. dude gets paid more than Kyle Lowry, Kemba Walker, and Reggie Jackson right now...and his salary actually goes up over the next 4 years. :heh:

Detroit You bytch Ass nikka
They should've been signed Beasley
Fixed :jawalrus:

Bu bu bu bu bu................. Spo obviously had reasons not to play him, so what he had 3 straight 20pt games off the bench while shooting 53%. So what that he was in the 6th nan award race while he was here, he gave up 50ppg to his match up. So what we were always great defensively and below average offensively, WE NEED MORE DEFENSIVE PLAYERS. Why play Beasley? He is only instant offense on 45% or better, nobody wants that trash. Give me a guy who averages 5ppg on 40% shooting, we need the 8 rebounds and 1 block per game.

So what............

SO fukkIN WHAT............

He is trash and will never be on an NBA roster again. RIP Michael Beasley, u belong in the ABC League.

:dwillhuh: outside of that 20 pt game the second game of his nba career what did
Cole contribute?

Yall getting mad at Dragic for what the front office did. He didnt trade himself for 2 first rounders
you can't be serious right now. if you really gonna say that cole didn't contribute during his tenure here.....

and hell that 20 point performance vs a good team is better than anything Dragic has ever done in a Heat uniform vs a good team

He was so good in fact they shipped his ass out in no time. This is the new thing in Heat nation, to make dragic the whipping boy. He was sold here based on playing a certain tempo. A tempo the head coach told him they couldnt play because of d wade and bosh. You want to get mad, be mad at the coach. Whatever yall say about Dragic vs. a good team applies to this whole team minus Hassan. Wade got beat like a drum by Kawhi a couple weeks ago and it was crickets in here

Breh, would you agree that the contract on Dragic is a bit too high for what he provides? I don't think it's an issue of him not being good enough for our team, it's just his price tag doesn't warrant his skillset. We could use some of that money elsewhere IMO

Cole was here for 4 + yrs, how is that "shipped out in no time"

and please Spoelstra has received PLENTY of blame from fans.

Wade has actually won games for this team over the last 2 seasons. when has Dragic ever done that? if he's not playing one style, he's invisible. how is that gonna work in the playoffs?

with Bosh out the 2 highest paid players on the team are Wade and Dragic. I trust Wade at 34 to show up. do you trust Dragic?
