But that's Detroit's game plan. They run plays all game to get Drummond the ball. They accepted they have a great big Drummond so he is their number one option. We treat Hasaan like he is DeAndre Jordan instead of making him the focal point of our offense.
I was talking more about getting boards. drummond really fights down low while hassan lets the balls come his way a lot of the time.

We have an all-star PF, hall of fame shooting guard, and supposedly one of the best pg in the league, and yet, we have been experiencing difficulties in scoring points in most of our games. :upsetfavre:
Yep. We'll get it together though. It just takes some time. As mediocre as this offense has been, we're still 9-5 and top 5 in the East. I'm more disappointed by how bad we defended tonight.....

we need winslow to look for his shot more. dude is always looking to pass when he has a wide open layup. he needs to be more assertive on offense. especially on nights like this when everybody is cold.
Been saying this since SUMMER LEAGUES. SUMMER freakin LEAGUES.

I'm fine with him deferring to Wade and Bosh. But dude you're a projected high lottery freakin pick. You have no business deferring to D-Leaguers in summer league play.

Meh... WHiteside is a much better version of DeAndre Jordan but not quite "dump the ball down to him every trip" type player. :many:
Plus he's a bit of a black hole sometimes. :francis:
With that said, I do agree that we do need to get him more involved especially when Bosh is or McROberts are on the floor. One big making the inbound pass to another should free up the lane for the slashers like Deng and Wade to cut to the basket

Agreed. Whiteside needs to work on his offensive game more before we talk about feeding him on every possession. There are times where's he's just way bigger, stronger, and athletic than the defender and so it makes him look more dominant offensively on some possessions, but he's not at that point yet where we dump it down to him...
