wade, bosh, spo, and everybody on the team has to accept it. whiteside is our number 1 guy now. period. it's like he misses a couple shots then they start ignoring him. yea he may ball hog, but they pretty much give him no margin of error. let him cook down there. it's no excuse for johnson and winslow to be feeding him more than our starting PG.

Wade is the only starter who remembers to give him the ball. When you find the big Buddha in the lane, give him the ball. He has to at least be our number 2, because when we ignore him, the team implodes on both ends of the floor.

He isn't a number one option. He can't create his own shot and post up properly to work his way to the bucket.

and how do you expect him to get better when they don't allow him to?.....he's got four 20 pt games on the squad even without his teammates setting him up properly. he's earned the right to fukk up. only way he's gonna polish his offensive game is by getting the ball. it's already proven that we look our best when we feed hassan the ball.

Wade is still your vest offensive player, but there is no fukkin way I'm keeping him on the perimeter all damn game as a coach. nikka literally gets 1 post up per game, and NEVER gets the ball around the elbow. Why the hell is he the only great perimeter player out of all his peers who NEVER gets plays ran for him from the elbow. Wade needs the chance to use the triple threat ability. At 34,he should not be running p&r from the top if the key every possession.
Either Spo is fukkin retarded or Wade really really wants to act like he is still 28. I don't understand that shyt. At this point, he can do more from the triple threat than he can with a live dribble 25 feet away from the basket.

I agreed with you to a certain extent. With that said, you need to take heed that Whiteside wasn't a factor in our offense when the Wolves employed the Hack-a-Hassan. Therefore, there was no way we can depend on him to carry us to victory when the Wolves took the lead in the 4th quarter.

Chris shot 5 three-pointers and didn't make none of them.

Breh, Watching Wade going through a shooting slump in the last four games is depressing. I agreed that Wade needs to post more often, but Whiteside is going want the ball in the post. We already know how Whiteside can act when he doesn't get the ball.
Right, he's a finisher not a creator. Pocket/lob passes on the pick n roll, quick post-ups when he has his man sealed deep, out running others bigs in transition & off. rebs....this is how MIA uses him; to great effect. He doesn't read help defenses well and is overall a bad passer...its hard give a guy like this MORE responsibility offensively.
Fact is, this is an assemble cast. There's no one on this roster who's good enough/consistent enough to be called a no. 1. I dont even know whose the best scorer on team is to be honest. Everyone eligible has noticeable flaws.
In order to win consistently they need a baseline level of production from Whiteside/Bosh/Wade/Dragic + the bench. You gotta go back to that '04 team to find the last Heat had a squad like this. Wade was damn rookie, there was no superstar to bail them out. Everyone had to produce.

Use one game to decide he's not a shooter but the fact that he's been averaging elite big men stats from shooting the three for the past 3 years.
Takes more than one game t override how reliable his shot had been since he's added it into his game, 4 days off, I'll cut the team some slack for an ugly performance.
