The 2 offensive rebounds late were on Bosh not boxing out his man but Whiteside needs to be more active going after boards. He tries to get everything flatfooted
When they don't involve hassan in the offense he always gives less effort on defense. Rebounding included.

I'm not talking about just tonight, he's been doing that all season. Someone was saying last night I think that his ankle may be bothering him but this isn't the first night I've noticed that.

And I agree he needs more touches, but I have a feeling there are times he doesn't get it for some time because he's kind of a black hole when he does get it. It's a vicious circle because since he doesn't get it much he wants to shoot it whenever he does, but sometimes guys might not want to give it to him because they know he's going to shoot it no matter what. That happened in the 4th tonight, they got it to him in the post and there were like 3 guys around him so he clearly should've passed it but he just threw some bs up that ended up going out of bounds.

Well, dude needs to get off from being emotional and just play. He shouldn't expect to average superstar stats when this team already loaded with scorers.
This too. If he wants the ball, he can also go up and get it. He only had 1 offensive rebound tonight and has had 1 or less in 5 of the 6 games.

Keeping this in mind, Spo needs to open up the roster a little bit. Especially on a back to back. Spot UD and Birdman some energy minutes, we played the same 9 guys as last night.
This is where we miss Green instant offense & energy off the bench
Wade at the point in his career struggles with back to back he will gut it out and play but you could tell he didn't have it.

They are just so fukkin inconstant and its frustrating because they can have stretches where they look like world beater and other times you don't know what the hell they are doing out there
Yea, every time run a play, the Heat players look confused. I'm thinking they are trying run some plays that have been trying in practice, but the players seem like they don't know any of the set plays.

the thing is, hassan is in a contract year....he knows this next contract is most likely gonna be the last max contract he's ever gonna get. all the other stars on the squad are set for life....hassan don't have that luxury yet. so you know he wants to go out there and put up great numbers every day. I do think he still has a lot of room for growth....he can put more effort on grabbing boards and he can also do a better job watching the floor. but right now, spo still hasn't given him a definitive role on offense. dude still looks confused as hell. every trip down floor he's running back and forth setting picks and posting up until he gets lucky with an alley oop or an easy basket down low. today, they kept giving him the ball in awkward ass situations....almost because they knew he'd have no other choice but to pass it back. only a few times he said fukk that and started throwing up some bullshyt.

this team aint gonna win shyt if they aren't willing to play through hassan for big stretches. after his huge game against the rockets, the team went right back to using him as a big ass tree on offense. wade and dragic just run around him until they can get themselves open....shyt is retarded. he proved vs the rockets he's more than capable to carry these guys when need be. is it any surprise our most impressive win of the season came on hassan's highest scoring game?....he's the one who led that comeback vs the rockets. we had a franchise center fall in our laps and now we don't even use him properly. you play through the big man...everybody knows that. you don't freeze him out, then expect him not to be selfish when he finally gets it. he takes more abuse than any player on our team....he should be rewarded for it. when hassan gets going, it makes things easier for everybody else...we've seen it happen plenty of times already. there's no way he's gonna accept this role for long...dude is too much of a hot head. he's gonna go off on spo eventually.

Yea that last play was for Bosh. I'm glad Spo had Winslow as the inbounder. It's a great learning experience for him. Sucks that we lost but we will be okay.

Miami Heat Fall to Pacers: Breaking Down the Final Play

Man, Winslow's and TJ's play makes me think both Chalmers and Deng need to go. It would be great if we can dump them and pick up a quality SF, possibly someone looking for a change of scenery, by the trade deadline

You know Spo going to Spo.:yeshrug:He can be a dumbass with his rotation. In his defense, he hasn't completely figure how to create plays that will work with everybody. I can't really fault him in this because this team is entirely new to him and has yet to provide Stoudemire and Birdman quality minutes. That is the result of him experimenting with the rotation and half-court plays until he finds what is going to work for his team. Moreover, if you look at most the of half-court set ups, every players having a hard time to find their spots. It indicates that new plays have been introduced to the players and it's up to them to properly execute plays that are given to them.

Whiteside needs to learn how to be patient and don't let his emotion get the best of him. His frustration has shown that he can't handle the heat when things doesn't goes his way. We don't need that kind of negative energy in this team. That's that kind of attitude that will kill a player's potential and disrupt team chemistry. He should be mature enough to understand that this team is going through a learning stage. It's going to take more than a course of five games for everybody to gel. Things will get better in this season and more plays will be created for Whiteside execute in the paint. He just have to continue to be productive without acting silly.

wade was tryin to go toe to toe with PG. just play your game. but i'm not even mad about this loss. whiteside literally touched the ball one time on offense in the 3rd quarter. that shyt is unacceptable.....spo is a clown.
Not to mention drawing up a 3 for Wade when a 3 is needed. Guy never learns. 37 points in the second half.
