Just started watching The Shield

The pilot and the first couple episodes are really good. The rest of the season has too many case of the week episodes.

The first couple of seasons are kind of cheap and poorly shot. Supposed to be gritty but its more that they didnt have a budget.

Season 3 is very good. Season 4 and 5 are great. Season 6 was mostly filler. Season 7 was very good, one of the best finales of all time. There were just some plot-holes in wrapping up the show.

Top 10 show of the era. Outside of the top 5 though.
