Nucky's started of strong and then got soft, left to much in Margret hands and started getting cold feet when the game turned sour.
The real don of the show is Arnold Rothstein (He was real person by the way; he was the Jewish mafias king pin and an extremely skilled mathematician/business man), that man is a mental power house, everyone tip toes around him, including Nucky.
Anyway, cant wait for the next season.
