two things will make me end a conversation about the wire real early:

"season 2 is the worst season"
"stringer bell is my favorite character, he was so smart yet gangsta"

when someone brings up the show, i ask them how they feel about season 2 and stringer right away. if they answer with the above, i bid them good day

Basically. Stringer Bell was one of the characters I hated the most. He just made a lot of dumb moves and choices.

Well for one deciding to pit Omar vs. Brother Mouzone behind Avon's back. That shyt got him killed.
Having D killed without Avon knowing. That shyt makes Avon look weak as fukk if someone murks his own blood and he don't know who did it.

I been told people IRL and on here 4-2-3-1-5 in that order. Without Season Five there is No Wire, shyt should have been Season One honestly but that's a different story for a ddifferent thread. Like everyone else says, when you're finished you'll understand or maybe it's too much and you'll hate it like others.

I fukks with Season Two but I actually said this in another thread and dudes who HATED the season got in they feelings. A lot of people who don't like Season Two are one's who don't want to "think" while watching the show. I guess you cwould skip it but then you gonna be like "who did he think he saw" or "who is that bytch" or "why is that cactually making a scene" or "how did Jimmy get back in"...so many lose enD's but like i said some people don't give a fukk. It's like side missons in video games I guess.

But after the 6th-7th episode, it made me sort of forget the shytty beginning.

its just very dialogue based. for example, that ether jimmy lays on rawls with the floating body is official but then he ends up dropping 12 bodies on his boys bunk and freeman. its just very dialogue based and i can see how some ppl might not enjoy it but the story is amazing. it really shows how great of a detective jimmy is along with freeman. also the whole stringer, d angelo, and avon storyline. body trying to hold it down with weak dope and coming into his own as a G. the greek and the docks just add a whole dimension to it that is just piff. plus we get introduced more into the east baltimore players who play a bigger role in the next few seasons.
