fantastic film, one of the best action movies to come out in the last 5 years. The problem with The Raid films was I hated the story, the characters were awful, and the movie wasn't well written. John Wick had good writing, great cinematography, amazing action scenes and it got you emotionally involved, plus there was some cool world building with the hotel and coins and shyt

People are really overrating the fukk out of this flick though. Which says a lot about the sorry state of American action cinema as well, but that's another story.

And I'm not saying John Wick is a bad movie, I thought it was good but it's also a bit rough around the edges, especially in the way it keeps going long after it should've ended. Four act movies ain't wavy, word to Bad Boys II.

I'm not joking. The movie wasn't goofy and wasn't parodying anything. I was emotionally involved and thought it was a great film. You could say a one liner from ANY movie created and act like it's cheesy.

I can understand on the first one. shyt was pretty basic. the 2nd one though? i thought the cinematography was pretty amazing, and I thought the characters were well fleshed out, and the script was good. the 2nd one was far better than the first, IMO.

Only other dude I've seen that looked so nasty with the head shots was Tom Cruise in Collateral.

it was all good til u said this shyt ....raid 2 at least 5x better than john wick and i love john wick
