im about 5'9 217

I'm doing 20 Carbs a day

&

2000 cals


I don't workout BUT I do have a job were I'm lifting heavy shyt all day for about 8/9 hours


I'm eating eggs, ground beef, fish, chicken, pork skins, beef sticks, cheese sticks, jello cups, pepperoni

Any advice or food suggestions

Lots of good food choices.
Almost every morning I have some eggs fried with a tablespoon of butter with some bacon.

Cheese is high fat low carb. but keep in moderation.

Vegetables cooked in olive oil is pretty much my go to side.

I made a low carb broccoli cheddar soup that was fukkin amazing. whcih was very low carb.

lots of meat. I don't even just stick with boring chicken breast either.
Steak, chicken wings, ribs..fukk it..if I ain't getting carbs I'm gonna enjoy my protein and fat haha

What is a net carb?

Fats are supper easy on low carb diets:

Burgers, chicken thighs, etc :noah:

Net carb=Carbs minus fiber. For example if a cup of veggies has 10 grams of carbs but 6 grams of fiber, you would only consider that 4 net carbs.

I remember last year I read you shouldn't count it

Then this year I read that you should count it :patrice:

Just trying to get more info. im doing a cut now, and couting macros for the first time, but I include fiber

:ohhh: I been doing natural peanut butter, almonds, and olive oil. got some avocados ripening. trying to expand my palate a bit tho

Fiber counters the blood sugar spike that carbs cause by slowing down your digestion and making you feel full for a longer time. So if you're eating lots of fiber you can probably get away with slightly more carbs.

Depends on what you mean by counting it. Relative to carbs, it isn't digested so there isn't a need to count it towards your carbs.
