Another county bid, I did upstate ny in Albany County.
Cuomo just sweeped the whole city on a state charge for blood sets.
Whole jail was ringing off from the bullpen to the tiers.
I got caught up in the transport with them unrelated to their charges.
Whole time in the bullpen, they g checking everyone.
I'm sitting in the bench like
One upstate nikka was claiming 183 or Valentine, that's a OLD set in the Bronx but he was the oldest and it seemed like he held rank or respect over the other nikkas.
Homeboy made a declaration to every nikka wrapped up that once we get to the gang tier , we gonna find out who real right.
It was a mix of Bronx, Brooklyn and upstate nikkas.
When we got classified I was in the tier next to the gang unit and they kept pulling the pin and turtles were rushing them every other day.
Them nikkas was banging out daily, could hear it through the walls, them nikkas was establishing hierarchy off rip and tryna figure who switching, who food. Who paper work ain't right.
I'm like Damm, this isn't prison yet.

During my stay in Albany,
I met some ranking Latin King from Milwaukee,
He had a big crown on his whole back and grills with different colored gems in em.
For context, I got a full Spanish name. But only by name, I speak no Spanish or culturally tied outside of birth right.
He got transported from the Midwest to Albany NY for a burglary charge when they caught his DNA from broke glass and indicted him.
He was spinning the whole classification unit( we didn't get classified yet).
The moment he saw my full name on my wrist band, he started claiming me as one of his and that WE gonna hold it down. He started recruiting right there and telling me that I'm a born Latin king . Mind you I'm a neutral nikka.
The tricks he tried to pull, he told the CO that I'm part of his nation and that they better protect me and don't let nobody touch me.
I don't know if it was my full legal name that did it but he was on guard for me telling nikkas that they better not touch me or he gonna do something to them
I'm like,
I'm bout to go down for gang association and put in a gang unit with this nikka if he don't stop.
Mind you, NYS jails , blood run it and Latin Kings don't really hold weight like that in most prisons to my knowledge at the time.
Mind you I'm fukking black.
This nikka tried to force me to claim Latin king. Throwing up the crown everytime the gates popped.
He telling me , I need to fall under the crown in Chicago.

lets say someone gets locked up for a fist fight in LES. Will they be housed in a spot like that ?
