The thing about this Joker is, he feels real. There is no over the top shyt with this Joker, he comes off like someone who could really exist in real life. Everything he went through, everyday people have gone through and it makes you wonder how close a lot of people are who have a mental illness to going completely off the handle.

Some of my thoughts on the movie:

Spoiler: Don't Read If You Haven't Watched It Yet

• I want to put a baby in Zazie Beetz. :tchallanoah:
• I need to see a story where the Joker and Batman are half-brothers. :bpohh:
• "Incel" is the popular term being used today, but IDK if Joker's character completely fits that profile. Given the 70's setting of the film, he's closer to real-life serial killers of the 70's and 80's.
• I also fear the thought that people won't recognize that you're not supposed to be sympathetic to the Joker. Yeah, he gets sh*t on constantly throughout the movie, but his response to that abuse isn't morally justified, and he shouldn't be considered admirable. Dude is a mentally ill cac.

• The movie makes Thomas Wayne look like a complete a$$hole and a scumbag, until you realize that Arthur's mother is completely delusional about having a love child with him. We actually don't know anything about Thomas Wayne at all. :bpohh:
• On that note, despite the film ostensibly being the Joker's "origin", we still don't know his origin, really. Who were his real parents? :bpohh:
• Most of the film is cringey as f*ck.
