The only reason they aren't in WWE is because Jay is too outspoken for his own good (Regal confirmed this). He got a lot of bad press last year when he ranted about gay marriage on twitter, and I doubt WWE will ever touch them now.

TNA did offer them deals last year, but they weren't interested because it's TNA.

That anti gay stuff is one of the things the WWE is very much seeking to avoid at all costs. Those folks don't play and they hit you in the pockets if you piss them off.

WWE gets tmz press here and there these days so they couldn't risk having to do the "the views expressed blah blah blah" schpeal if TMZ or someone started floating their gay marriage views in the media.
