Frodo was practically useless. He couldn't fight, had no street smarts and Smeagal would've whipped his ass in a fair one

He just couldn't be corrupted by the ring (most times)

he also had enough compassion to not wanna kill smeagal which led to them getting into the mountain unseen.. what you do him do physically he does that and way more emotionally

Who else could have carried the ring the whole way without getting corrupted? Sam had to carry Frodo because he sure as hell couldn't have carried the ring.

I agree with the first part but Sam DEFINITELY had no interest at all in the ring. He would NOT have been corrupted but he also would NOT have done all that shyt to destroy the ring. He wouldve threw that shyt away in town like

Although i will say in Frodo’s defense dude was 100% dedicated to the cause. He didn’t falter or try to quit not once throughout muthafukkas trying to kill him, maim him, kidnap him, etc. His level of resolve should be commended.

Sam was the hero but Frodo was the “Heart” if you will
