That price point in my opinion is no man's land. Either buy something cheaper or stack ur cash and wait to afford a legit timepiece. Blessings..
Facts @Starski if you have $1500 to spend, just get an Apple Watch for now if you don’t have one already to wear while you stack for a real watch. If ya credit right you can just get a new card with 12-18 months zero interest and just divide the payments. Plus you’ll get some cash back.

Don’t mean to pocket watch, but how much a nikka need in the bank to even think about buying a luxury watch? And before anyone tries it, I make over 6 figures, but I just started really making money last year.

IMO when I bought my YM I had 6 months living expenses in cash and was maxing out my 401k and hit a certain number for income. As long as you research ur watch when you get up to Rolex and up the investment tends to even out worse case or appreciate even. Everyone's situation is different....I would've got it sooner if I didn't have kids and a fam to provide for....blessings brehh

if you look at it as a long term investment and buy accordingly then send it breh, if you look at it as a serious daily expense then i'd set aside anything above 20% of my take home (savings) to fund it, you might be past the point of being able to cop a 15-20k watch already

Honestly buying / having a Rolex is as good as cash to me :yeshrug: Why have the money sitting in the bank when you can have it on your wrist and enjoy it? If times get hard you can always sell for what you paid for it more less. Right now in Miami Rolex stores are dry as fukk, so resale prices are up.

What are some good "entry pieces"(Brands) brehs :lupe:

750-1.5k range.
There's some good stuff at the upper end of your budget but all of them will be used/second hand. Longines and Hamilton are go to brands in that range but of course they make some compromises.

Longines Big Eye
FS: REDUCED Longines Avigation Bigeye!

Hamilton Intra-Matic
FS: Hamilton Intra-Matic Automatic Chronograph H38416711...

Longines Master Complete Calendar

Then it also depends on your personal style, whether you like chronographs, dive or dress watches but there's stuff out there (these just happen to be chronographs).

And then if you can up your budget to around $2000 you can get a Breitling (Superocean, Avenger) or an Omega (non-pro Speedmasters and 2000s Seamasters).
