The rise of rom coms, sit coms, and c00n coms got a generation of men thinking its "ok" to let women talk down to them (ESPECIALLY publicly) fukk THAT you will treat me with the SAME respect to which I treat you. I would NEVER consciously embarrass a woman I'm dating, publicly or otherwise. I don't engage in public arguments or stupid outbursts and that bullshyt philosophy that some women think they can get "away" with saying disrespectful shyt is out the window. Men can have some balls about their own self respect WITHOUT being labeled sexist pigs.
I understand where your coming from. I'm the same way, I was raised up to be polite and courteous to women, the ONE difference is that I had a father who hipped me since I was young on the values of SELF RESPECT. If you don't respect yourself first and foremost then NO WOMAN will. This is not to say that I never went through my simp phase either, I did, but even in my "simp" phase I NEVER allowed myself to be put in a position where a woman straight up disrespected me.
The truth is that every man must come to terms within himself. We aren't all built to be players, pimps, or studs. But we all most certainly ARE built to be through the lineage of the shared Y chromosome is men who are respected. You might not be able to pull a woman who wants an "a$$hole" or a "thug" but you and her damn sure better know she can't pull no bullshyt on you. That's the number 1 rule of life.
