I have some questions

1. People drive insane out here like doing left turns on red lights and cutting people off. I'd be scared to drive there.

2. My lyft driver drove a Benz and said she's done some film/movie producing because her family is connected but she's still doing LYFT! Why? I wanted to ask but didn't think it was appropriate

I stayed in Hollywood and went around with family. It's something I want to aspire to but if I was in the industry I think I would get depressed living there

You should be getting driven in a benz. You should have just thrown out a casual "Have I seen any of your work?". That wouldn't have been too intrusive.

That shyt has broken so many 'aspiring actor' spirits My roommate had a dog that got more placements than him and he grew to resent it.

Film and movie work is unstable and unless you are a big star, you probably aren't getting paid big and its extremely expensive to live out there. A lot of them like those 'flexible', gig type jobs in case they have to audition as well. That's why a lot of them used to be waiters
