My advice is to sell everything and pay your attorney. Call your past employers to the stand for character witnesses. Executives would be good. If you have been involved with any non-profits call them and have them testify also.

You might have to spend 10 or 20k but as long as you don't have any felonies or violent crime charges from the past then you should be able to beat it.
