I recommend everyone do this though, just 99 bucks, when you put your info in Gedmatch its an information overload though, but it`s cool reading about stuff. I did another test that said I was 23% "Archaic African" which I assume just comes from the various central/east african groups that are considered ancient.
Where is the pic of you as a kid?The thing about names, there are a ton of people in the Philippines with my last name, and my mothers last name is actually her fathers first name, I forget her fathers actual last name.
I`m using old pics so I dont put too much personal biz out there, but these are my parents and a kid photo of me. As stated I was also told by AAs and whites "I dont look African", I think the misconception comes from people being used to seeing people from certain tribes/areas and assuming all Africans have that look when African people came in various shapes tones and looks.
Of course, Black African are genetically the most diverse race of people in the world, and every physical trait that every non black has came from black people. Every single one...they came from us, not the other way around.

That would mean we are the least evolved..

Haitian ancestry test. You can find more results at forumbiodiversity.comMy mom from Haiti dad from amerca. Watch I be 50% Beninin 50% Tennesseean boss hog.
You think whites are "more evolved" then blacks?? You know how white people developed?
They are result of black people interbreeding in the caves of Europe during the last ice age the lack of genetic diversity, hense the reason why whites are genically weaker then blacks.
Or are you subtly trying to say that blacks (not "we" bc what black person even thinks this way about themselves ) are closer to primates hense our stereotypical behavior??
I don't want to discourage people from doing it, but please understand the implications of said act. You are voluntarily giving your genetic sequencing to be tested. Don't think it's not going into a database and being stored (accessed by law enforcement). In addition corporations are buying that information to make money off of. There's a term call "gene hunters", who go around trying to cash up off of that. You could have some genetic marker that could literally bring in billions for them - especially when marketed towards us. Not saying don't do it, just make certain you read the fine print and ask questions.
