My first cousin took this test & we found out we're first cousins once removed, sharing 6.17% DNA. First cousins are supposed to share about 12.5% DNA, give or take a point or two. My uncle and my mom don't have the same father.

My grandma died in 2008, my grandfather passed in 1991.
