yeah that actor was perfect for that role..the whole cast pretty much was imo. don's second wife was annoying as fukk sometimes.

thats understandable breh. its one of the toughest shows to get into, like i said it took me years myself but when i started watching it became too addictive. im about to try the same with suits, hope it delivers.

Gave this a shot many years back and couldn't get into it














Then tried a couple years after that and was
Binged the whole series coincidentally up until the final season started
AMC promo'd the shyt out of it.
Was glad I caught it during it's run

This show hits close to home...never met my grandpops but he basically ran the advertising at the Boston globe from the late 40’s to the 70’s. Used to travel to NY all the time and used to down scotch at “business lunches” from what ive been told.

Very good show, i still gotta watch season 7 tho....

GOAT level show. Writing is impeccable, and it had to be in order to keep the viewer's interest since it didn't have the crime crutch that most of the other GOAT level shows have. They couldn't kill people or have shootouts with any level of regularity. It relied on the mystery of Don's past for the first few seasons. But once that was put to bed, they still had a few more great seasons after that. That's an underrated feat, cuz I'm sure that was central piece in the creation and development of the show. To get passed that and still keep the quality of the show up is amazing. So many other shows fall off something serious when they lose their central purpose. This show switched gears and took off.
