Couldnt see all the hype around it. I looked at as just dre and cubes side of things.it seemed corny to me tbh not just the duck tales in it but the lines at times. Critics praised this movie more than what it was worth and the new generation of fans who have no prior knowledge of nwa will be mislead by this garbage.

:mjlol:At Dre being this tough guy when he was only knocking out women (which was no talk of) and being a knew bytch when it come to any real shyt

Eazy was never broke and probably made more money of the chronic than Dre

I suppose Cube was spot on thou I doubt he ever came to priority with bats and smashed up the office

Cube really did come through the offices with a bat smashin shyt up.

Yea the Cube thing actually happened with him coming to the office with bats fukking shyt up. The thing that really bothered me about this was Pac doing Hail Mary all out of sequence and Dre acting like a tough guy punching out Suge's goons, The Snoop scene with them doing G Thang out the blue, and them acting like Eazy was struggling financially.

I understand poetic license and all that, but if I was making a movie, and one of my dead homies played a major role in the movie, if I took poetic license, it would be to make him look even bigger and more thorough than he actually was. I wouldn't create a scene where he got beat up, when that never happened. And I wouldn't make him look like a broke nikka hustlin weed at the end of his life, when facts are he had the biggest selling group in hip hop signed to his record label at the time. Just my thoughts though. Other than that, it was an entertaining flick.

that did happen, he got threatened in the studio with pipes and shyt to "encourage" E to let Dre out of his contract. i heard there's also a part in Jerry Hellers book where he talks about Eazy coming to him one night talking about killing Suge.

i don't know, i think they could assume that he got touched up. who else was there to corroborate the story? Suge? Tomika and Heller would probably know more than anything and only one of them was on board for the movie. i don't believe Eazy went back to Tomika and was balloin his eyes out and i can't believe he was "going broke" when he had his own multi plat albums as well as Bone and royalties from The Chronic coming in as well, that was just played up for the movie and they had to take Tomika's word for it. Eazy was the main character in the movie and he had the main arc so he needed to be the one people felt for the most so they stretched the truth here & there, Tomika probably pushed a few things over the top. Just like if we had a Pac movie where Afeni was the biggest contributor he would be played a lot less like a thug and he wouldn't do a bunch of stuff we know he did because she always used to push that angle of him not being how he portrayed himself in the music and all that.

Eazy going broke is the funniest joke ever...eazy crying in his car when he saw the Dre billboard like his life revolved around Dre....Dre knocking nikkas out...Pac doing Hail Mary... Eazy getting fukked up...the ending...movie was :trash:

Eazy E crying in the car?:what:....:mjlol:
