Marlo's peak was short like leprechauns. If the cops went after Marlo like they did Avon in season one it would've been a 3 episode season. The cops spent the first six or so episodes just tryna figure out what Avon looked like!
Marlo was making more money than Avon ever did, but that was because String and Joe giftwrapped the city's dealers with the co-op for him. However, I doubt he had more money than Avon amassed over his reign. You're all impressed that Marlo paid for Michael's spot.... so what? Avon was paying for Weebay's baby's mom's spot for a minute even after their reign ended. Avon's sister's spot was still being taken care of as the show ended.

Homis i know everyone likes Avon better but cmon now, Marlo was making more than them and Avon did need the connect, after season 2 Sting went to prop Joe to join the connect because the product was weak, Avon and String were not the only players in town, prop joe, fat face rick and hungry man all had spots, they all ate well. Marlo took those spots and took over the co-op and double the price of the brick, everyone had to pay it, he made more money, he sold the connect for 10 million on top of what he already had before, Avon sold the connect for 100 k. I know guys on this site identify with certain people on this show like Avon and Bodie, Avon is that figure they think is the smartest, richest guy out, he has the best team of all and he looks out for them, never mentioning his crew lived in row houses with no heat. Bodie is that loser who has connections but at the end of the day is broke with no car or home to call his own and yet he "grinding" all day with nothing to show for it. Marlo is the guy with everything, who makes it look easy, the guy with no humor but is all about his money, the success story that most people will never have, i get the hold argument he had with the security now, he said you want it the other way and the security was mad he was not in his place.
They went after marlo harder then they went after avon, Marlo outsmarted them each time (The Camera, The Rooftop Pictures Snappers, Being Followed). Avon fell for all that shyt.
