The show is up and down in almost every season. Lots of drawn out plots.

The highs can be pretty captivating and the lows are just awful.

It's generally pretty entertaining and I happen to think season five was the best.

Me too. There are too many episodes in the 3rd season where literally NOTHING happens, actually that goes for the entire series. Those Govenor episodes are sooo fukking hard to get through. I tried to get back into it, I watched a few episodes of the latest season but it just ain't grabbing me. I'm really digging the prequel show "Fear The Walking Dead" tho.

Season 1 is only 6 episodes because the network only ordered 6 episodes. The first season for some shows are usually test seasons to see where the writers can take the show to earn a bigger order for a second season.

Season 2 is pretty bad but picks up after that. I write Facebook posts on it every Wednesday so I know. As @Regular_P said, the highs are high intense shyt and the lows are six feet deep bad.

IMO the show really was its best at the beginning. There are cool moments as it goes on, but it's honestly a tier-2 show for sure. But I don't wanna be the guy to maker you maybe miss something cool if you keep watching.
