Is it worth downloading at this point?

i checked their dev notes, they are version 0.8.1, so first version very close to release like dude said. I'm sure the bugs are getting worked out and version 1 is less than a month away

XDA is all the support we need.

I know unix/linux command lines like the back of my hand, why would I talk to someone who reads/follows a transcript/guide for troubleshooting? what do i need support for haha?

The biggest bug I've run into so far is the information within a widget disappearing. I have to delete the widget and re-add it to get it working again. It only happens with the weather and RSS widgets so far. They don't officially support roms, but I doubt that's causing the issue.

When they initially released it, it took forever to get to your home screen when you backed out of an app. They fixed this in one of the updates.

The only other complaint I have is the lack of widgets, but they'll come in due time. They're supposed to be releasing a few more when they drop the official build in Sept. Once other developers get on board and release their API's, this thing has some serious potential.

I don't think it's quite ready to replace my stock home screen, but i'm confident it will in the near future. :takedat:

dope...I can't wait to play around with jelly bean and this. I have an ipad3 and just jailbroke it this morning, im installing quasar as we speak.

The main reason i enjoy android more than iOS is the customizing. It's boring and counter productive to just have icons on a screen, i need widgets dammit

shyt looks clean, will it run on a galaxy tab ?

Maybe I'm just getting old, I used to be the guy who'd wan't to download every rom, customize every possible part of the interface (icons, fonts, carrier, tab color).

But now I just want some shyt that's clean and works without fukking up. I don't have the time or patience to fukk around on xda like I used to. shyt I haven't even upgraded my GS2 to ICS after the official update was released because Kies is such a piece of shyt and it crashed constantly so I said fukk it.

My 4s is jailbroken, and I only fukk around with that because Cydia makes it so you can do shyt without having to connect to a pc. But even then after a couple weeks Im back to my stock springboard. :yeshrug:

I got it too from kickstarter. It's cool, but right now it's in beta and it shows. It uses way more RAM than any launcher I've ever used and you can only use their widgets and they have like 10 :smh: . It has a lot of potential and I can see where they are going with it but....

It's not quite worth downloading for the money yet.
