this is my opinion on the whole matter on droid vs iOS....they are both built off of a unix/linux core. Essentially their cores are similar but apple imposes greater restrictions, but apple also produces the most beautiful hardware.

I try to tell people it's like this:

OS's are kinda like cars. If you want a really elegant but simple everyday driver that you aren't going to mod at all you get the apple, it's like copping a lexus/audi....but if you're a mechanic and know what you are doing, you can take the toyota/volkwagen and make it more powerful and customized than the lexus/audi could ever be.

This is a common theme whenever an Android related project is mentioned. Its ok though, M$ and Nokia will save us all come September 5th from the sea of mediocrity that is Android and iOS.
