I don't doubt it will probably outperform a console, but it's just a "desktop". there's nothing about it that makes it a "gaming pc". you're gonna run into issues with newer games. throw a dedicated graphics card in that bytch and you'll really see the light

This, I have an AMD-A6 APU (those are processors built for mobile computing btw) and though it can run certain games on high settings.... the moment I try my dual TV (for gaming) and monitor (for internet) setup, that shyt heats up like crazy and the fans starts blowing loud as hell. A dedicated graphics card (and cpu) + a monitor with a 120hz refresh rate = :krs:

:salute: I hear you. Right now im just catching up to some PC classics. (Mass Effect, Dead Space, DayZ, Arkham City etc.) So at the moment im fine with a mediocre system. It just blew my mind how good real 1080p gaming looks.

They are selling a refurb at best buy for 379. Is it worth it or should I build my system?

Decent specs breh. For what u mention, you will be ok for a while. Decent for price paid. Not a hardcore gaming PC by any stretch more than enough to have a lil fun for now. Enjoy breh!
