it's kinda crazy that aside from a few scenes(like the stampede) the special effects in the OG Jurassic Park STILL hold up and look better than the shyt that's out now. Thing about Spielberg and James Cameron is that they used CGI to enhance a special effect rather than use it as the ONLY special effect. they combined it with models and practical effects to give things a sense of weight, size and scale. once people just started doing everything, including sets and locations on a computer, special effects lost their grit and realism

I'm just saying, shyt looks like videogames now, it's not even close to being believable

my little cousins was watching that ninja turtles movie, and that shyt looked like a straight up cartoon, nothing was believable about that CGI

There's a pick-n-mix tyranosaurus raptor Godzillasaurus rex on the loose, causing trouble and driving the film instead of an actual dinosaur:mjlol: it's even "killing for sport":mjlol:.

Might as well just make one of these, coat it in flesh and call it a "dinosaur"

there's your "Zordasaurus-Rex":pachaha:

I'm saying :russ: like how is this concept of a theme park filled with dinosaurs not getting through to people?
Its cool you have accepted this debauchery as logical and ok...but don't try and act like we weird for seeing this terrible PLOT DEVICE as unmitigated basura :trash::trash:. :mjlol: @ training 2 meter tall prehistoric killing machines. We can't even train a pack of lions that well in real life.

Trained Raptors sounds awful. :scust:...throw in Frankensaur and a fully realized park out of nowhere after years of MULTIPLE attempts to build a functional one and you have a recipe for a disaster of a movie which I will most likely be in line for on opening night.....BUT I won't be expecting anything good past a few cool CGI dinos

nikkas train dolphins and killer whales in real life ..... raptors are said to be just as smart
Don't see the problem

This is a terrible comparison because humans are not a natural food source for dolphins and killer whales. You can jump into a crowd of wild dolphins/killer whales and they will not eat you or view you as a food source.

Raptors are different because they were the apex predator on land and everything was viewed as a food source.

Back to the movie though, say the trailer again, looks like hot garbage. :lolbron:Especially the part when them winged dinosaurs were lifting them people out of the park. They honestly need to make a R rated version of this movie, it would be so much better.

Breh it's a movie about genetically engineering dinosaurs and creating a theme park based on that idea. But the training of raptors is where you draw the line? Let's think about this: people are paying to see dinosaurs that are trained on command and on schedules like a zoo. They are going on nature walks and river cruises to look at the trained wild animals that have now been domesticated. But again the raptors being trained is where you say it's illogical?
