Lol, I thought the same thing. Clint is so dumb obvious.Saw in theaters. It was ok. Reminded me of a 90's legal thriller, probably on purpose. In the 90's, this would have been a wild ride, with a killer hunting the juror or whatever. Eastwood is so heavy handed. Saw the last one too. The Richard Jewel one. The thriller angle barely works. Some of the jurors got dangerously close to caricatures. The black ones for sure. The main conceit is pretty unbelievable, that the prosecutors wouldn't even consider that a car hit the victim, seems beyond belief.
But it was old fashioned movie making and it wasn't a horrible watch.
This was so mid to me. Kinda felt like a Lifetime movie. Messina’s character gotta be one of the WOAT defense attorneys I’ve seen in a movie.
The likelihood of a coroner failing to even consider a hit and run after a look at the victim’s body is slim, and that’s only one of the many things that didn’t make sense here.

Showing up on his doorstep implied she was going to follow through with trying to overturn the caseWhat did she do?
