Jurassic Park 4 will be in 3D (apparently shot in the format, rather than post-converted). Casting has not yet begun for the film, so rumors of Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Neill, etc. are not accurate (yet, anyway). The story breaks down like this:

JURASSIC PARK 4, set in present day Isla Nublar, is now an actual theme park, as originally intended by John Hammond in the first film. It garners 10 million visitors per year and is completely safe - until it's not. The park itself is described as very Sea World-esque and includes an area called the Isla Nublar Lagoon. That means underwater dino's for the first time. No indication of what kind, but there's concept art showing one of the aquatic dino's, as part of a show, jumping out of the lagoon and eating a strung up great white shark like it was a fish for a dolphin at sea world.

As part of a show, you ask? That's right, folks, this will feature "tamed" dino's. In fact, our source indicated that the usually menacing Velociraptors (which will finally be muzzled, along with the T-Rex - until they're not) will actually be used to help fight the threat, which begins in the form of a new dinosaur, not seen in any of the previous films (and not disclosed to us) shows to be much smarter than originally thought and is the main cause of havoc breaking out at the park.

So, to sum it all up, JURASSIC PARK 4 will take place back on Isla Nublar with a fully operational dinosaur theme park (I'm sure no expense was spared) that's both prosperous and safe, until a new dinosaur figures out a way to wreak havoc, causing the use of the now tamed Velociraptors (and T-Rex? Unclear) as a means to fighting the threat.

:mj:

:whoo:, this sound interesting. The thing about the raptors tho:whoa:. Dem raptor were gully in the first 3 movies.

After Bryce Dallas Howard entered early talks for the female lead last month, casting continues on director Colin Trevorrow’s highly anticipated sequel Jurassic World. Deadline reports that 12-year-old Insidious and Iron Man 3 star Ty Simpkins has booked a lead role in the film, confirming that the franchise staple of children being terrorized by dinosaurs will continue in this fourth entry. Additionally, the report notes that New Girl star Jake Johnson may be in the mix for a role, which would reunite the actor with his Safety Not Guaranteed director.

Plot details are being kept firmly under wraps, but the film was initially scripted by Rick Jaffa andAmanda Silver (Rise of the Planet of the Apes) and boasts rewrites by Trevorrow and Derek Connolly. Expect plenty more casting news in the coming weeks as production looks to begin early next year in anticipation of the June 12, 2015 release date.

That storyline is :trash:

I mean in the first three movies every time humans went to the islands where the dinosaurs are at they always ended up taking major L's with multiple people getting killed... What sane person would travel to the island to attempt to tame man eating dinosaurs and then build the theme park? :mindblown:

I mean every time an T Rex or Raptor saw a human it always tries to eat them, they have no idea how many of them are on the island, I mean how would they even set up a plan to tame them :what:

Raptors and T Rexes co existing with humans :comeon:

Sounds like they using a similar storyline from that terrible snake movie Boa vs. Phypton where the humans released a snake from a lab to find/kill the other snake that was causing chaos as the humans had no way of finding the snake by themselves.

I think this movie is going have a lot of dinosaurs fights, that looks like that's going to be the main appeal of this movie :manny:

Unknown big ass meat eating dinosour getting into fights with T Rex and Raptors :ehh:

I'm shocked they didn't start using other prehistoric animals other than dinosaurs at this point :manny:
