Jurassic Park 2 vs. Jurassic Park 3

I saw part 2 when I finally upgraded to blu, and it's much better than I remember. Much better than 3, by a lot.

2 has Mr. Kobyashi in it who is dope as hell....some classic scenes, but 3 wasn't meant to be as great as part 1 ala part 2 so it gets the edge for not being as disappointing

What's the beef with 2? I think it's a very solid film. Goldblum, postlethwait and stormaire are all great and some of the scenes are right up there with JP1.

The opening compys, the arrival with stegosauraus / ingen hunting, trex trailer scene, compys in the river, raptors in the grass are all top notch to me.

Don't care for the San Francisco scene much and of course gymnastics but that's such a small part of an otherwise solid film.
