Those blocks!!
Skill level and/or athleticism has to be off the charts to be that size and make it to the NBA.Remember the Crimestopper kid from Baltimore. He was an all American at 5’7 and still wasn’t good enough to compete at D1, let alone the NBA.
You gotta be an all time great athlete like Nate Robinson if u wanna make noise in college or make it to the NBA at that height
Why does he still play like he’s the second coming of both Kobe and CP3?He sucks..he is a 5/'6 chucker who cant really shoot, dribble dribble dribble
Nah bro Aquille chose not to go to Seton Hall, he def got an offer and almost played there, and he had a pro offer from overseas and was good enough to at least make the D-leauge, he was closer to making the NBA than most people, but that shows the diff between a guy like him and Julian even moreRemember the Crimestopper kid from Baltimore. White kid didn’t move a single centimeter.
It’s all his pops fault imo. Dudes want to live vicariously through their kids and create horrible situations. He is so used to this style of play and being told that HE is the STAR that he can prolly never unlearn it.Why does he still play like he’s the second coming of both Kobe and CP3?
Nobody’s looking for a 5’6” super chucker who keeps the ball the whole shot clock. Why would anybody even want to play with him? He needs to learn to run the point (stop playing for his dad and get a real coach) Then he would start getting some scholarship offers.

Yeah but now you’re taking the conversation in anther direction, the point is both of them are way better than Julian, I was just correcting that part of your statement. And the difference between a guy like Nate Robinson and Aquille is that much wider.

I remember scouts looking at him dumb. Like you don't have the genes to do what you doing. LeVar was smart enough to realize a 6'6 nikka and a 6ft woman had a high chance of creating 6'6 and taller male kids."I sampled your style , you was doing it wrong"-Lavar Ball
He looked good in middle school but his tools stayed the same from there. My tools in middle school were garbage. Hell, I was a Soph running a 5 flat. As a Jr, I was running a 4.5 and 40 pounds bigger. He peaked WAY too early physically and just looks like a talented freshman playing v. men when he's 19 himself. His skill level is still higher than most HSers and many college players but that don't even matter. He needs to start prepping for the Globetrotters. No idea who he is, so I'm going off general consensus and this video. He's 5'6 at best. I would say he needs to be watching more Earl Boykins, Spud Webb, and Mugsy highlights as opposed to Trae Young and Iverson, but he's nowhere near athletic or quick as Earl, Spud, or Mugsy were. If you're that much smaller, you either
A.) have to be incredibly athletic, or
B.) Incredibly savvy, crafty, and smart with the rock at the PG position.
Often times, both. You have to make up for being a huge defensive liability and excel at something. I dont see that with him.
His IQ is terrible and he can't outsmart his opponent.
He has a pedestrian first step.
He's easily rattled.
He can't "out athlete" his opponent and has no explosion.
I havent seen his jumper but if you're unable to create space at 5'6 at the high school level, good luck at doing so at the D1/Pro/Semi-pro level where the defenders get bigger, more disciplined, quicker, and taller. Seems like he has an attitude issue to boot. You can be a small guy and a great player, but he clearly wasn't steered in the right direction during his development. If what you all are saying is true, his dad was definitely living vicariously through him and set him up to fail as a consequence. Too focused on what they wanted him to be as opposed to what he should have been.
His best bet is to take that D1 offer like @ISO mentioned, make peace with the idea of likley being the back up PGs backup, live it up in undergrad as a D1 athlete surrounded by beautiful women, get a degree + some solid connects, and count his blessings. All things comsidered, he's in a privileged situation because he's blessed to have that offer if this video footage is any indication of his actual talent level.
