He was different though, the amount of attention he consistently got, even when it was clear he was just slightly above average in hs, was ludicrous, he wasn’t even entertaining people just watched him to laugh at him, but at least he accepts his place in life now

One of the kids I coached had been ranked top-100 in California in 6th grade and would have made a great wing. Really smooth footwork, body control, great touch. By junior college he was riding the bench as a 5'8" high energy point guard who barely got in games.

Crazy shyt is that he was the same height as LeBron in 6th grade. One of them grew and one of them didn't.
