Yea he was.

You looking at it based on how their careers turned out. In 2005, this was before Wayne went on his mixtape run, before selling a million in one week. Wayne wasn't A-list yet. TI wasn't A-list in 2005 either. Those were the "Bring Em Out" days. He aint become a superstar until spring 2006 when King/ATL dropped. I remember them days :obama: I'll give you Jeezy. He had more buzz. Game had more buzz too coming off the Documentary. But TI & Wayne, they were equal to Juelz to me. Where they ended up, is where Juelz should've ended up too.

T.I., Wayne and Luda were all platinum when Juelz was gold...."Trap Muzik" and "Urban Legend" easily out performed "From Me To You" and "What The Games Been Missing" and it wasn't even close..

to keep it 100, the only guy that SHOULD have been KONY was Jadakiss.

If someone would have asked me in 97 after Big died who would be the next king, the only answer besides Nas would have been Jada. He just was never able to drop a solid album :to:

Jay Z at that time was dope but not really a major player, (Nas had illmatic and sold 2 million with IWW, Jada the LOX was ripping the mixtape market and had the streets locked....All Jay had done at that point was drop a decent album that sold wood....at that time) if u asked 100 people on the street who was a better rapper in 1997 85% would have told u jadakiss.

:yeshrug:
preach my brotha, and cast out these historical revision ass nikkas :dj2:

Everybody respects Jada too, no matter the region. He just needed a better team in terms of someone helping him craft shyt, pick beats/hooks etc. Oh well, he still a legend

Juelz is like the definition of a lazy nikka. I kinda wonder if things would be different if he came up now, with twitter and everyone having access to the internet/mixtapes. Even lazy nikkas can record some shyt on an iMac and throw it online today, perhaps that's what he needed. I'm not a 50 or Wayne fan but I give them props for carrying on the tradition of physical mixtapes back in the early 00s. That took some true focus and aim, whereas now anyone can do that shyt online.

jada wasn't aggressive enough, neither was juelz. after the sophmore album if he wasn't/couldnt drop a follow up he needed to release a blcc or the tape w/ wayne. u need to be putting out something once yr if ur an up n comer and wanna be considered a contender

In New York all the young nikkas looked up to Juelz.

However the REAL contenders for KONY was Fab and Jada. Them nikkas really dropped the ball :snoop:

New York nikkas is fukking lazy man. All of em. Even Nas and Big and em where lazy in their primes.

Only NY rapper that was about their grind was 50. And Jay-z to a degree.
