And @Regular_P

Then what are Juelz best albums mixtapes and all his work included?

I bought What the game's been missing. Still have the CD with the pop up Juelz and chain - classic packaging art.

That was my first intro to dipset. Late. And I liked that album alot!

I never heard any of his mixtapes including back like Cooked crack.
From Me To U and the Cooked Crack series.

Okay, I skimmed through all of the Cooked Crack. Part of me feels there's a handful of gems on all three but off first skim they aren't front to back classics.

However - and a big however.

There are complete "Juelz" tracks on there. His rhymes, attitude, style.

I knew dipset was about sampling 80s rock songs, and sitcoms. I thought it was a joke when they dropped.

But Dipset embraced the fukk out of it and made it their sound.

Some of it doesn't sound mixed well.

But that's part of it.

I know this thread mocks Juelz and I know dope writers who kinda mocked but appreciated Juelz. Ultimately I think he's very dope, original and has had success.

If he's careful I believe he can have a second and third wind to his career.

He looks healthy and sounds great in this recent video with Jim Jones and that's the energy I want to see from him.

Its about the movie.

This is actually a dope story tellin track.

Ah okay cool. I thought it was an original story.

Still.

Even though it's based on a film I always loved it.

"Im bout to blow they house back!"

The passion in that line. Juelz has this way of expressing his anger - and you tell it's scathing anger - but he puts it in music.

Then he comes out with a this fun music.

Can someone explain how Vado came in the situation?

I always looked at it like Juelz was Cameron's boy. His development.

Then Juelz pissed Cam off and out of spite Cam brought Vado under his wing to spite Juelz.

But Vado is incredibly dope as well.

Then in the end it kinda caused problems.

In the oh ya video seeing Juelz and am is perfection.

I've got love for Vado but never understood that whole situation and timing.

Can someone explain what happened there?

We're Vado and Juelz cool?

I could be wrong of all of the above. I just remember Juelz was away, then Vado was around Cam.

They're all great.

I thought Vado was from the block. He was rapping for a minute because he was part of Jae Millz (Wonder Blow??) team back in like 03-05. I remember they dropped a joint tape at the time.

When Juelz started skull gang, cam saw the opportunity with vado but it never jumped off. His buzz was dead then and the bosses of bosses mixtape was mid. In terms of production etc.

Don't think it was out of spite he got vado on board. Because the public enemy tape cam had in like 07/08?? He was tryna plug Tom Gist and some other unknown artists. At the time I think Cam was oblivious to his decline in music and was chasing making another star.

Thank you for those insights.

It looks like in the end none of these side projects worked.

I heard when business stick to the core brand things work. Wu Tang worked for so long because of the work and unity.

Hip hop is learning the greatness of Wu Tang even years later.

I think Dipset could have worked out if they all concentrated on Dipset. Branching out too much hurts things.

Camron, Juelz and Jim Jones is a very powerful and original team.

I think that's all they need.

Who knows. The industry and creativity is tough.

Another thing I always loved the art for Back like Cooked Crack 2!

It's so minimalist but dope. It's perfect.

Yeah, they're hit or miss but if you take the best tracks from each mixtape you have a classic. The highlights are really high. "Daddy Is Home" really set the tone at that time with the opening bars.

Oh see, it's me again
So pleased to speak again
OG's I speak to them
Told me to speak again
Told me Jordan washed up so he won't need this beat again

:wow:

The intro to Vol. 3 is such a great mix by Green Lantern. I still have to repeat that whenever I play the mixtape.
