PLOT TWIST

Story is that his sparring partner was talking to a girl on Copacabana beach and that she stole THAT dude's phone. They both ran after her once they realized what happened but she managed to enter a guarded hotel. but those two were block by secuirty of the hotel, THAT'S where the fight occured between the sparring partner and security happened, the judoka received a hit trying to separate them.

Isnt jujitsu and judo different? They're both glorified wrestling, but Jujitsu has more striking.

@Mowgli is this right?

A gun will back any n1gga down, no matter what he's trained in doe :ehh:

judo is a sport with weight classes. it wont really do much for self defense unless a lot of circumstances align. a judo player is more equipped on the street than the average person, but not jason bourne

brazilian jiu jitsu, and specifically gracie jiu jitsu, is derived from judo and adapted to street fights and self defense in rio, ironically

a lotta schools nowadays teach bjj as a sport, it's cool if you're into that, but it's pretty useless in defending yourself since an attacker doesn't play by rules

i dont really like the sport culture of many bjj schools

my friend won a points tournament, and it was dope to see him win but it was ridiculous. you get points for getting out of guard, allowing yourself back in guard, then breaking guard again :snoop:

i dont really like tournaments at all except for training purposes, but submission only >>>
