This is ass backwards. But the more and more we flounder from one extreme to the next, the less likely we are to grow.

Revolutions start from inequity. Until men and women learn how to respect each other equally and mutually...we’ll stay in a never ending race to the bottom.
:yeshrug:
People who learn to work together and cooperate level up.
When blk men are given props, resentment is the last thing I feel. I’m just proud of em. But it is what it is.

Above the fray.
My heritage is not in this country, but most of you already know that. You can choose to discount my opinion based on that......................but I disagree with what Joe Brown says based on the title of the thread.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.has an observed FEDERAL holiday on his birthday. You can count on ONE hand the number of Americans who have this distinction.
The number of Americans whose image is on U.S. currency is a less exclusive group , if we have to compare the two honors .
I don't see the reason this topic even came up, but since it did....wouldn't MLK holiday refute what Judge Joe Brown is saying?

ehh I dont see a problem or rather I dont see how it really effects the black community.

Its just another symbol feel good token for blacks to claim but have no real effect. It could have been Martin Luther king or Malcom X on the dollar bill. lol What does that do?

Do blacks have any more economic power to influence politics in there favor after this? will this lead blacks to practice group economics???
