The judge also agreed that the defense should be given access to the school/social media records of Martin's girlfriend who is also the primary witness for the prosecution since she was on the phone with Martin the night of his death.

I get what the defense is up to by wanting these records and I can even uderstand a judge agreeing to release Martin's school records to see if he had a history of being a discipline problem but the social media stuff seems like a reach. Nothing a kid writes on Facebook or Twitter should be taken as a fair representation of what typeof person they are. Most of the time kids are spouting off and being goofy on those outlets.

The judge cited Munoz vs Florida as why she agreed to the subpoena of the records. It is based on a defendant in a self-defense case having the right to use "reputtion evidence" against the victim to try and show that the victim was the aggressor.
The thing I find confusing is why would the reputation of Trayvon Martin matter since he and Zimmerman didn't knwo each other. Zimmerman would have had no way of knowing whether Martin had a penchant for being violent or aggressive since he would not have been privy to any of the evidence that is now going to be allowed in court.

Zimmerman himself is not even the most frustrating thing about this situation. Don't get me wrong. I think Zimmerman is a piece of shyt in the form of a human being. But the fact so much effort had to be given just to get him charged with Trayvon murder is the real crime. I mean shyt...Zimmerman 911 call proves that he was following this kid. How the fukk are you following someone, but somehow they sneak up on you I guess because Trayvon was a young black kid they are trying to stereotype type him as a thug.

Because they want to get zimmerman off so they're going to use any comment Trey said in social media to make him look like the type of child who deserved to be killed since they evidence doesnt supposedly show if the killing was self defense or not.
