The fact that the national media hasn’t covered her all year is inane. She was the number 1 player coming out of high school. She had an NIL deal when she was still in high school. She could’ve went to any school she wanted to but chose to stay home to rebuild USC. She almost out scored Stanford by herself. She’s a better version of Diana Tarasi.
She should be getting just as much coverage as Caitlin Clark. She’s averaging more points as a freshman than Clark did in her first 3 years at Iowa.
The blame lies with the Pac 12, it's not a national media problem. There's a reason why that conference has been blown up and is done after this year. UCLA vs USC earlier in the season was a top 10 matchup between undefeated teams and the game was played on the Pac12 network that nobody has.

I’m not buying it. When Prime went to Colorado, the national media was all over it. And had they kept winning, they would’ve gotten more national games.
The PAC 12 this year is the deepest in the country and has a bunch of all American caliber players. The media simply doesn’t fukk with women’s basketball. And for all the complaints people have about the men’s game, the women’s game is more pure. No traveling, more fundamentals.
Prime has been a known brand for 30 years and is also aligned with a powerful marketing company, can't compare her to a teenager that everyone just found out about that went to a dead hoops program that the general public doesn't care about. Caitlin Clark's hype didn't even really hit full throttle until last year imo, Paige got all the hype both of their freshmen years despite the numbers Clark was putting up because the UConn brand had more juice behind it. Juju's hype will look alot different starting next year with the B10.

Nah. Bueckers was a better player which is why she won national player of the year as a freshman. Clark was putting up empty stats in a weak conference. And it’s still weak.
Bueckers had she not gotten hurt would’ve been getting all the attention. Granted, she plays at UConn, but it’s also added pressure to win. Clark hasn’t had to face that.
Ju Ju is playing in a conference with better competition than the Big 10.
