There is no loyalty in the music business. JR should sit down and do his time and learn from this....low down artists who came from nothing dont live by the code of ethics other than the street.

LOL @ his lawyer telling him to flip a couple bricks. Dude must've had Max B's AttorneyYeah I don't understand what the money was supposed to be for...the way he explained it he was copping out regardless, what was so pressing that he round up 50K ASAP to the point where his lawyer said "flip a couple bricks if you have to"...if the last thing you're gonna do literally hours before you go in is go on the radio and throw dudes under the bus for not holding you down, seems like he would explain himself better...what's with the "i can't talk about why I'm going in" stuff? Ain't it public record anyway? He's already plead, been sentenced, and gets booked tomorrow...what difference does talking about it make now? The whole thing was weird and confusing to me

One thing a lot of cats fail to realize, is you become who you surround yourself with. There's been a lot of really good dudes who get caught up in shyt that they probably shouldn't have, but it all comes back to the company you keep. If anything, JR will learn from this, but it's sad to see dude get sent up like this. I'm rootin' for him and hope he comes back with a different mind and better goals for himself and who he decides to keep company with.

i honestly believe jr writer was behind a lot of dipsets success. all them dudes rapped different til jr writer came along. writer ghostwrote all them dudes a new flow.

it's not that they took Writer for granted, they knew he had the tools to become the biggest star out of all of them.... what do u do when somebody is a threat, u contain them and distract them from what their goals should be.... Dipset had Writer gassed, but not enough for him to pull of and do his own thing...
@marcuz yea when I first heard Writer back in the summer of 03' I figured he was ghostin for Cam or vice versa... being that I couldn't see Cam ghostin for a youngin on the come up I always thought in the back of my head that JR was ghostwriting for Killa... When JR started to fade out so did Killa's "Dipset Flow" ....

i don't see why JR, Hell Rell & 40 Cal never went an exploited the asian market and got a little bread off of it.
Duke Da God could have organized a little mini tour in China or Japan with them along with araabmuzik and with Zeke hyping it up.
Vado done it a few years back when he had his Slime tee with Crooks & Castles..i'm sure they could have added him.
