Dapped and repped.

The racist white man controls us, black men have no other choice but to kill and steal to put food on the table.

How other folks who don't see this is sad. :francis:
This type of thinking is part of the problem.

Breh, it's 2023...you can open an business, work for yourself 10000 different ways, get any level of education you want, get loans, get the same services as everybody else...who exactly is holding you back or MAKING you do anything you don't want to do? I'm not denying what has happened in the past but everybody can make their own choices and do damn near anything they want.

You can follow that video and refer to nikkas as "gremlins" as dude did while talking, but all that is just an excuse at this point in time because you can literally achieve anything you work towards and it aint that hard. Yes, we are at a disadvantage but that disadvantage hasn't stopped millions of us from succeeding in this country.
The system of white supremacy is the disease. The mindset is one of the symptoms of white supremacy. Unfortunately a lot of us have the wrong orientation and mindset with prolong exposure to poverty and the system of white supremacy

Black men net worth of 10,000
Black women net worth 1,000

Magical thinking without resources will not pull Black Americans up by their bootstraps. The only group throughout American history who has to pull themselves up and get it out the mud, friend.

He's right.
I'll just add that: we need to reframe this from charity to investment into the community.

Of all those people in his community he imagined feeding:
- One will be the next restauranteur that feeds him and his family amazing food instead of him going into a restaurant that doesn't want him there
- One will be the next engineer that builds a product he loves
- One will be the next designer that he wears rather than some Italian designer that thinks he's a minstrel
- One will be the next lawyer that gets him out of a bind instead of lawyer that sees him as a joke and piggy bank.
- One will be the next teacher that doesn't automatically label his black child as developmentally disabled because they're biased
- One will be the next nurse that takes care of his loved one

All these conversations have to start with anti black racism and the conditions that mindset created.

Public conversations HAVE TO start with the critique of government leadership and their lack of financial empowerment towards black communities.

How can the world's richest country STILL fighting poverty since its inception. How can a group of people who were granted freedom from racial prejudice in the 1960s still be facing extreme racial prejudice in the 2020s?

A basketball court can't answer or fix none of these problems.

NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
But he’s projecting his own actions on people who don’t have the choice.

Black people aren’t generally behind economically cause we buy too many cars and hoes.
He’s speaking on the RICH black entertainers and such who have the income and resources and squander it. This is obviously not something that can be done by the average black person. I swear Malcolm nor Martin would get as far as they did back then if they were in this generation because people would dissect all of their actions and past and shyt on them.

I’m didn’t shyt on him.

I said his perspective is nowhere near the average black person.

His quote was about “the black community” not just rich folks.

the problem with the black community is white supremacy.
That's secondary :yeshrug: white extremists are always gonna be working against us in this country, the problem is we work against ourselves as well and make it worse. We can't mount any meaningful response to them with such a sad community.

We can't feed ourselves cause we barely own farms, can't heal ourselves cause we don't have hospitals anymore and we don't teach our kids anymore cause we send them to cac schools.

We gotta get out of our submissive mindset.
