There was never a stigma to being a dope fiend rock star....there was once a stigma to being a dope field rapper. Not even a fan of Joyner Lucas but it was never cool to be a drug addict in rap, until these lames popped up.
Fred.
Heavy metal, rock, country
& punk artist can do literally whole albums about heroin, coke, hallucinagens, meth, huffing paint hell even crack rock & get praised, critical acclaimed & potentially win grammies while rappers get criticized, dissed, abandoned & made to fell like pariahs of hip hop at least their staying within their own artistic parameters hip hop is full of pompous a$$holes fukk your dope bars nikka![]()
Bro, "I'm not racist"This generation of rappers really feel like they don't needs hits.He think twenty years from now he can just perform his rendition of 'mask off' and he'll be able to tour off of that? Why not just get the same producer who made that and make your own hit? Everything he drop do a million views in no time. When they change the game and stop these rappers from even gettin' promo from these 'remixes' then it's a rap for them.
bruh you way off base here.
name ten rock, country and punk albums in the past five years glorifying all those drugs. do it.
so just because it's ok for white people to poison it's people black people should do it as well
i really shouldn't be surprised this is what happens when you don't visit the motherland
But it was cool to sell drugs and promote violenceThere was never a stigma to being a dope fiend rock star....there was once a stigma to being a dope field rapper. Not even a fan of Joyner Lucas but it was never cool to be a drug addict in rap, until these lames popped up.
Fred.
he doesn't need hits, he needs a fanbase
Joyner isnt the type of artist that will pop off with some huge single. He needs to find an audience and cater to them. take the J. Cole, Logic etc approach
everyone talkin about what he needs to do like his video doesn't have 10 million views in a week.. he's doing better than I would have ever imagined right now..
